Guest Post for Thursday Thought

I love sharing thoughts on my blog and I thought it would be fun to invite guest authors to share their favorite quote, thought, or inspirational message. Would you like to be featured on my Thursday Thought segment? Email me, for details.

Welcome to my first guest post for Thursday Thoughts, Anne Bradshaw!

"Success is the child of drudgery and perseverance. It cannot be coaxed or bribed; pay the price and it is yours." ~ O.S. Marden

Anne says: I find this applies to writing books. Maybe replace "drudgery" (too dismal) with "mental exhaustion" or "sheer grind," because writing is enjoyable work despite the trials. This quote inspires me to keep paying the price. Success is always worth the effort.

Anne Bradshaw has six published books, including "True Miracles with Genealogy" of which Volume Two is coming soon. Visit her website at and blog at

Thank you, Anne for the excellent quote! I enjoy her blog and this week she is hosting a genealogy contest over on  starting Wed. Sept. 28 and ending Wed. Oct. 4  - the prize is for Legacy Family Tree software - the Legacy 7.5 Bundle, a combined value of $72.90!
